This time I'm going to review a lipstick which is currently being my favorite. This lipstick is from a popular and affordable brand in Indonesia, it's Pixy.

Beberapa minggu lalu aku mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mencoba produk-produk dari Poppy Dharsono Cosmetics. Aku senang sekali dengan perkembangan kosmetik Indonesia sekarang dan selalu excited mencoba produk-produk lokal. Kali ini kosmetik yang aku terima merupakan brand dari salah seorang fashion designer Indonesia yang menggunakan namanya untuk brand kosmetik miliknya ini.

Mari mengenal profil Ibu Poppy Dharsono. Pada tahun 70-an Poppy Dharsono mengetuk pintu dunia fashion dengan mengawali karirnya sebagai model. Profesi itu dijalankannya untuk sekedar menambah uang saku semasa studi filmografi di Institut Kesenian Jakarta dan juga semasa bersekolah mode di Perancis.

Sekembalinya ke tanah air, Poppy mulai merintis karirnya sebagai perancang mode, dan setelah lebih dari 30 tahun berkarir di industri ini, Poppy menjadi pengusaha dan perancang senior di Indonesia. Sampai dengan saat ini Poppy masih aktif menjabat sebagai Presiden dari Asosiasi Perancang Pengusaha Muda Indonesia (APPMI) membawahi anggota-anggota perancang yang tersebar di seluruh nusantara. Setiap tahunnya, APPMI menggelar event besar yang bernama Indonesia Fashion Week.

Atas kecintaannya terhadap dunia kecantikan dan inspirasi yang didapat dari desainer-desainer yang mendunia seperti Coco Chanel dan Yves Saint Laurent, Poppy menciptakan lini kosmetika yang bertajuk Poppy Dharsono pada tahun 1989, menjadi pelopor perancang kosmetik pertama di Indonesia. Poppy Dharsono meluncurkan produk pertamanya yang dinamakan Eau de Toilette Poppy Dharsono, disusul oleh produk-produk dekoratif seperti bedak, lipstik, dan eyeliner.

Menurut Poppy Dharsono, sifat alami wanita untuk tampil cantik, dan makeup dapat membantu wanita merasa lebih kuat dan percaya diri. Dengan energi positif yang diberikan oleh makeup, usia tidak lagi menjadi tolak ukur kecantikan seorang wanita. Untuk itu, wanita Indonesia harus sadar akan kecantikannya masing-masing tanpa melihat usia ataupun warna kulit.

Sudah lama banget aku selalu penasaran dengan produk Lime Crime Velvetines ini. Produk ini adalah produk vegan, tidak melakukan percobaan kepada hewan, di mana yang kita tahu biasanya animal testing itu kejam.

Aku memilih warna Suedeberry karena warnanya ada sentuhan warna jingga which is lipstik warna favorit aku.

I don't have studio for shooting, so I don't have any good lighting here, depends how good God gives the lighting that day. Lol. Although I'm not a professional cameraman or editor, I did this video my myself from producing to editing.

Speaking of about the lighting, the newest video on my blog is about my lip product collection, so I want you to understand the shade can be different because of the lighting. You can compare the shade with the picture on my blog post or other beauty blogger friends. In this video, I didn't use any filters, just room light and natural light.

Lipstik orange lagi! Huahuahua. Kali ini berasal dari brand Wet n Wild, brand dengan lipstik yang memiliki pilihan warna yang sangat banyak dan harga terjangkau. Untuk brand ini, warna orange-nya diberi nama 24 Carrot Gold.

Another orange lipstick! Huahuahua. This time is from Wet n Wild brand, a brand with so many color selections for the lipstick and very affordable. For this brand, the orange color one named 24 Carrot Gold.

MILANI Color Statement Lipstick "Flamingo Pose"

Halo beauty lovers, sebelumnya saya mau minta maaf dulu untuk ketidakkonsistenan warna lipstik di yang akan saya review kali ini di foto. Berawal dari rasa penasaran saya dengan lipstik YSL 52 Rosy Coral, saya mulai mencari dupe warna itu karena kita semua tahu, lipstik itu sering sangat langka karena menjadi world wide best seller. Tidak cuma karena langka, tapi harganya juga mahal untuk level pelajar seperti saya. Jadi, why not to find the dupe?

Starting from my curiosity with YSL 52 Rosy Coral lipstick, I started looking for a dupe color of it because we all know, it's being very rare lipstick since become world-wide best seller. Not only because it's rare, but the price is too expensive for the students like me. So, why not to find the dupe?

Akhirnya saya menemukan Milani Color Statement Lipstick ini dan dia memiliki shade Flamingo Pose yang warnanya cukup mendekati YSL 52 menurut saya.

Finally I found Milani Lipstick Color statement and it has Flamingo Pose as the color shade that close enough to YSL 52 according to me.

Warna lipstik ini bisa kita langsung lihat dari bagian paling bawah lipstik.

The color of this lipstick can be seen directly from the bottom part of the lipstick.

L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick "302 Rosewood"

Helo, beauties. Ada yang sedang mencari lipstik dengan warna pink natural? Sepertinya kalian akan menyukai lipstik dari L'oreal ini. Lipstik ini sangat wearable pada kesempatan mana pun.

CARING COLOURS Happy Lip Colour "01 Ever Sun"

Sekarang saya sedang "berpetualang" dengan lipstik-lipstik lokal. Ternyata lipstik lokal shadenya juga bagus-bagus loh, walau kurang banyak seperti lipstik internasional yang shadenya bisa melebihi 20 shade. Iseng-iseng cari lipstik warna orange, saya ditawari lipstik dari Caring ini. Shadenya adalah 01 Ever Sun dari koleksi Caring Colours Happy Lip Colour.

Now I'm like "discovering" local lipsticks. Surprisingly local lipsticks also have very beautiful shades, although the shades are not as many international lipstick's that reach more than 20 shades. Was just looking for orange lipstick, I was offered this Caring lipstick. The shade is 01 Ever Sun from Caring Colours Happy Lip Colour collection.

Packagingnya terbuat dari plastik yang kelihatannya kurang kuat. Tetapi kamu bisa langsung melihat warna asli lipstiknya karena space yang terbuat dari plastik bening untuk melihat isi lipstiknya.

The packaging is made from plastic that seems quite fragile. But you can immediately see real color of the lipstick because there's a space that is made from transparent plastic to see the lipstick.

Shade 01 Ever Sun ini di katalognya warnanya seperti merah, tetapi setelah dilihat in person cenderung orange.

In the catalog, shade 01 Ever Sun has color like red, but as seen in person tend to be orange.

NYX Round Lipstick "536 Eros"

Saya sedang tergila-gila dengan lipstik warna merah walaupun jarang menggunakannya. Sebelumnya saya pernah mereview tentang lipstik merah dari Maybelline yaitu Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipcolor shade Summer Sunset. Memang warnanya sama-sama merah, tetapi perlu kita ketahui bahwa merah juga terdiri dari beberapa undertone, misalnya merah dengan bluish undertone untuk orang yang memiliki cool undertone dan merah dengan orange undertone untuk orang yang memiliki warm undertone. Memilih lipstik merah yang sesuai dengan undertone kita akan memancarkan complexion kita dengan lebih baik.

I'm crazy about red lipsticks although rarely use them. Previously I've reviewed about red lipstick from Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipcolor shade Summer Sunset. That's true all reds are red, but we need to know that red is also composed from several undertones, for example, red with bluish undertones for people who have cool undertones and red with orange undertones for people who have warm undertones. Choosing a match red lipstick with our undertones will bring out our complexion better.

Saya memiliki neutral undertone, jadi saya bisa menggunakan lipstik merah dengan undertone apapun. Yeiy. Tapi sekedar FYI, NYX Round Lipstick shade Eros ini cocok untuk kalian yang memiliki warm undertone karena memiliki sentuhan warna orange.

I have neutral undertones, so I can use red lipstick with any undertones. Yeiy. But just FYI, this NYX Round Lipstick shade Eros is suitable for you who have warm undertones because it has a touch of orange undertone.

MAC COSMETICS Lipstick "See Sheer"

Another review in the end of May, excited enough?? Lipstick MAC Cosmetics cukup memilki banyak pilihan warna. Kali ini saya akan mereview MAC lipstik shade See Sheer yang warnanya cukup natural digunakan sehari-hari.

Heihoooo!! Kali ini saya akan mereview salah satu produk EM Cosmetics yaitu, Lip Gallery Creamy Color Matte Lipstick shade Hot Tangerine. Saya suka banget dengan lipstick berwarna orange atau tangerine. Bagi kalian yang tinggal di Indonesia (mungkin juga di luar Amerika), ngefans banget sama Michelle Phan, pasti kalian mau banget EM Cosmetics tapi sussssaaaaaaaaaaahhh banget dapetinnya, iya kan?? Itu juga yang saya alami T_T. Tapi akhirnya, kebeli juga.

I really like orange or tangerine color lipstick. For those of you who live in Indonesia (and also maybe outside U.S.), being big fans of Michelle Phan, I know surely you really want to buy EM Cosmetics but it's soooooooooooo hard to get it, right?? I experienced that too T_T. But finally, I got this baby.

MAYBELLINE Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lipcolor "Summer Sunset"

Buat saya, red lips itu menggambarkan sosok wanita yang anggun dan elegan. Kalau pesta sih wajar ya tampil dengan red lips. Tapi, nggak banyak wanita yang berani tampil red lips untuk sehari-hari. Gimana buat kalian? Berani tampil red lips untuk sehari-hari? Yay or Nay? Hahaha.

For me, red lips describe a graceful and elegant woman. It's not freak if wearing red lips in party. But, there're not many numbers of women who dare to wear red lips for daily look. What about you? Dare to wear red lips for daily look? Yay or Nay? Hahaha.

Btw, saya sendiri memiliki gigi yang tidak putih alias kekuningan. Hey, bukan males gosok gigi ya, ini genetik! Dari my daddy. Huhuhu. Dan katanya, jika kita menggunakan lipstick warna merah (tentunya sesuai dengan undertone kita) akan bisa mencerahkan gigi kita.

Btw, I myself don't have white teeth a.k.a yellowy teeth. Hey, I'm not lazy to brush my teeth, this is genetic! From my daddy. Huhuhu. And if we use the red lipstick (of course depends our undertone) will be able to brighten our teeth.
